Tasting notes
The organoleptic analysis of this wine highlights a color of good depth and tone; the aroma is initially modest, expanding and gaining volume through oxygenation in the glass. On the palate, the wine shows a solid structure with good softness, where the tannins find their place without overpowering the other components, especially thanks to the fact that this Merlot has a distinct Chianti character.
Pairings
Casarsa pairs delightfully with refined main courses featuring red meats or game. Excellent with grilled meats, roasts, beef fillets, or traditional Tuscan dishes based on wild boar.
