Tasting of six vintages of Chianti Classico Riserva or SuperTuscan at Villa Calcinaia, to discover the evolution of wines aged up to 18 years.

What’s included: Tour of the private gardens of Villa Calcinaia and the vinsanto drying room with panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards (weather permitting). Visit to the production cellar and the 1524 barrel cellar. The tasting will be served in the farm’s old kitchen and includes 6 wines paired with a tasting plate of Tuscan pecorino cheeses: 5 old vintages of Villa Calcinaia Chianti Classico Riserva (2004-05-06-07-08) and the current vintage (2017-2018) OR 5 old vintages of Villa Calcinaia Casarsa, Supertuscan 100% Merlot (2004-05-06-07-08) and the current vintage (2016-2017).
